Partner with FHWA, AASHTO, APWA, NACE and ARTBA to monitor progress on Federal Transportation Reauthorization. Arrange visit for LTAP representative to visit Washington DC and promote NLTAPA.

Respond to reauthorization activities by providing educational materials and briefings describing the LTAP program. Maximize our electronic efforts to highlight on-going and up-coming NLTAPA activities to our partners and other relative organizations.

Recent Accomplishments 

1. Developed checklist of educational outreach activities that can be done by individual Centers to increase the visibility of the LTAP program on a state and national basis. Distributed this checklist to the centers prior/during 2010 TRB meeting.
2. Completed AASHTO LTAP Briefing Sheet specifically addressing LTAP/DOT partnerships and successes
3. Held monthly conference calls with the External Communications Work Group members.
