Welcome the new Nebraska LTAP Director to the North Central Region
The staff at NE LTAP are pleased to introduce Mitch Doht, P.E. as our new Director as of May 1, 2019. We look forward to Mitch bringing his experience, expertise, and leadership to our team as we move into the next chapter of service to Nebraska’s transportation professionals, local agencies, and industry partners.
Mitch has served as City Engineer and Director of Public Works for the City of York in Nebraska since December of 2013. Prior to that he was County Engineer and Highway Superintendent for York County, Nebraska. He also has nearly five years of past experience with the Nebraska Department of Transportation, working in local projects. Mitch is a member of the LTAP Advisory Board and of many other professional associations. He is a licensed Civil Engineer, holding several additional relevant licenses and certifications. His education includes a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from UNL and graduate work in Public Administration at UNO. Mitch is a life-long Nebraskan who currently lives with his wife, Kimberly, near Grand Island and has four grown sons and two granddaughters.
